Terms of Use
Last updated: June 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using Saguinus ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the Software.
2. Live testing / beta status
Saguinus is still under active development and is provided free of charge during this live-testing period. Features, behavior, and file formats may change between versions.
3. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use of the Software is at your own risk.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages, data loss, or other harm arising from use of, or inability to use, the Software — including content you create, edit, or lose within it.
5. Your data
Documents you create with Saguinus are stored as plain markdown files on your own device, under your control. Saguinus does not transmit your document content anywhere. You're responsible for backing up your own files — Saguinus's built-in backup feature is a convenience, not a guarantee.
6. Updates
Saguinus may check for and offer to install updates (on supported platforms). Installing an update is optional unless stated otherwise for a specific release.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the Software evolves. Continued use of the Software after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Contact
